Introduction of An Author

As an adventure-seeker, I often find myself undertaking new challenges and seeking thrills in many forms. This is not the first attempt at keeping a regular blog, but perhaps it will be the most successful attempt because I have to keep up a regular log of activity for college, as well as for the 100 Day Book Plan that I joined on The Write Practice.

I have goals to reach from both aforementioned undertakings, but furthermore, I want this. A regular blog that details not just the tips and tricks of being a writer, but the nitty-gritty of the day to day struggles of a creative type. It will showcase small pieces of literature of my own, book reviews, my top writing tunes showcase, daily struggles, tips, tricks, and NaNoWriMo adventures too.

10 Things About A.R. Harlow
1. Psychology Major in her senior year of undergraduate school
2. Single mother to a hyper, dictator, toddler and total diva princess.
3. Full-time employee of both a traditional clock on job and many varied odd jobs.
4. Twice published in two charity anthologies alongside a host of other superb writers.
5. Creative type that suffers when she is not creating in some form (painting, drawing, writing, photographing, sketching, bullet-journaling, crafting, building)
6. Depressed and anxious woman who often struggles with feeling less than enough for everyone (but, don't worry, she is treated for it, but its part of her daily life)
7. Avid racing fan, especially in-person events of drag racing, sprint car racing, and dirt car races. If it goes fast, she wants to watch it.
8. Disney/Pixar Fanatic, loves most anything animated, including the classics of Scooby Doo, but also W.I.T.C.H., Avatar The Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, Sofia the First, and so forth.
9. Two favorite authors: J.R.R. Tolkien and J.K. Rowling, they are her literary heroes.
10. Ambitious 22 year-old author, with the undertaking of not just one book project this autumn, but several, including; Finding Her, Clockworks: Rosecog and Time Slipping, and, Worldbuilding Compendium (an on-going project that keeps extending each time she adds new worlds and new creatures and races to her stories)

So, there are 10 things about her that may or may not be meaningful, but still have a place in getting to know the person behind the pen. Time is running short now, on to the next project of the weekend. See you soon :)
